I’m with you with what you posted after this....I think CJ is avoiding it because it’s unconstitutional and he wants no part of it.
Now, whether or not he’s worried about the unconstitutionality or the upset (almost used another word..) it would cause, I cannot say....
It just dawned on me (I’m slow on the uptake), but this might be why they’re wanting to keep the NG in DC-for protection during the impeachment trial.
Perhaps, but after hauling 'em all away from their homes/jobs for a publicity stunt, badmouthing them and forcing them to nap in a parking garage, I'd wonder if some in Congress might think they'd need protection FROM the NG.
BTW, do the silly bastards still have that razor-wire in the wall around the Capitol installed backwards as well? (Iirc, the razor wire goes on the side facing the threat and that mess in DC is all on the inside, facing the Capitol)
Yes, we’ll see if CJ Roberts actually balks (but then the Deep State ‘persuades’ him to go with the flow).Technically he wouldn’t want to preside over a trial that history will judge as being unconstitutional.
Perhaps the Chief Traitor it’s concerned about all the evidence the defense will show. Then it will be obvious that his court is corrupt.
