I don’t know, but I wouldn’t be surprised if someday the leftists decide to make owning heirloom seeds illegal so they can control all the food production. I remember reading in the past there have been lawsuits or fines in the past where farmers were growing heirlooms too close to GMO farms, as the GMO seeds are patented and I guess any cross-pollination would with heirlooms would infringe on their patent or hurt their hybrid, It was years ago I read about this.

I do know that ever since reading it, I have only used heirloom seeds and save them year after year. The first year was rough, but each year has been better - saving the most hardy and productive fruit/veggie seeds
