I did the same earlier in the week.
Not me. I want to primary people. Can’t as independent.
Big whoop. Need a cookie?
As long as you NEVER vote against the republican candidate(s), and don’t vote for the ‘independent’ candidate, then, it’s okay to go incognito.
Voting for an ‘independent’ will insure that a democrat wins whatever the race.
I will crawl through broken glass to purge the RINOs in the 2022 primaries.
Good luck.
"You've always had that power, Kevin in California. All you have to do is click your heels together three times and say, 'eat sh*t and die, RNC. Eat sh*t and die, RNC. Eat sh*t and die, RNC'."
Good Idea! How does one change from Republican to independent?
I want to point out that if you decide to no longer vote in California, you must fill out a voter registration removal request. I did this when I received an absentee ballot after I retired from the service and registered to vote in Maryland. The registrar’s office told me to shred the ballot (which I did).
If you let your old registration remain on the books, you just open another door for election fraud even if you yourself would never commit fraud.
ah bad choice. if you want to make a statement, register democrat so you can screw with the local elections, and work up from there.
I left the republican party AFTER Reagan. The primary reason... george h. w. bush!!!
Did the same...never thought I would. But the betrayal to Trump was too much!
So maybe now(in Calif.) you can’t be hunted down and beaten with clubs now.
Congrats!
In Colorado an unaffiliated voter can vote in any one party’s primary.....and then vote later for any candidate in any party in the general election.
I’m on the verge of doing the same, except I live in a small town I want to go to the RNC office here in town and and do it in front of them and tell them exactly why.
Welcome to the world of Independent Ops
Welcome to the world of Independent Ops
Well, one plus is that you won’t get called for jury duty any more. The last things judges and prosecutors want to deal with are independent thinkers. :)
What’s the big deal about party registration? Vote for whoever you want when you want and can.
