One of the drawbacks of alternative information is that if the mainstream narrative is blatantly one-sided, people tend to accept any alternative information. The mainstream narrative hardly pretends to be objective, unlike in the days of Walter Cronkite or even Ted Turner. Alternative information, labeled conspiracy theory by liberals and semi-conservatives who accept the mainstream narrative, is also subject to human error and erroneous information. As an example, some anonymous person calls in or contacts someone like Alex Jones and spouts some story about secret plans to arrest, say, Clapper, Brennan, Comey, et. al. If they sound authoritative, some people believe their story.

That is the weakness the Deep State used through the Q movement. Perhaps Trump, or at least some of the anti-Stop the Steal movement, were fooled. But I believe that at least some of them, like Lin Wood, were on the other side.

Whatever it is - not a lot of people seem too curious about it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Q and Antifa are on the same side
