The only way out of this mess (in my mind) is to begin working at the local level to be sure that your state or county allows independent voters to vote in primaries. That is step one. then MAGA voters can vote for vetted conservatives from any party. That way we can groom real conservatives and get them elected. Then fight behind the curtains, infiltrate the enemy camps. For sure we can’t fight them in the open if Trump couldn’t with his millions in the open.
