I see what you mean. Sixty years ago it would have perhaps been called “mass hysteria”. Don’t know what to call it now. Dangerously deluded and detached from reality. And that’s the LEADERS!
It has gotta be a spiritual thing; the only explanation that easily fits in my simplistic Christian mind. How else to explain a huge portion of the population believing the most outrageous fantasies - and acting crazy in response?
I cannot help but think of all the world worshiping the image of the beast... how to explain such a thing?
