Some elderly friends of ours, who’ve been kept in fear by their adult children and who have scarcely left their homes since March, claim to be on various different waiting lists for vaccines for quite some time now, and still haven’t gotten called.

OTOH, my spouse gets bothered constantly by robo-calls from the VA, saying “come get your vaccine!” (Neither of us would dream of getting it, and will resist tooth and nail against it.)
