Some say he had to fly that way because he is not the President Elect and so not qualified to receive such a flight. Didn’t Barr get flown in on a big military plane when he became AG?
It’s been claimed no one else has had to do this, but I can’t speak to the truth of that.

Wasn't Joe at first going to come to town by Amtrak? Good point but I think that Wictor's questions were to mean that POTUS was not really going anywhere.
