From what I heard (I forget exactly where), there were 2 briefcases with the codes yesterday.
One was with a military officer who was with DJT, and had codes that expired exactly at noon (Eastern).
The other military officer was with Biden, and had codes that went into effect at noon (Eastern).
So basically, there were two "footballs" yesterday, but the codes would only work for one of them depending on what time it was.
