I watched it again and absolutely no salute from the two Marines in the doorway as he walked all the way through the door, mumbling, “Salute the Marines...” The group lining the stairs were all saluting, but I don’t know what division they were...they looked like Capitol Police? They certainly were not Marines......

Just an observation. When a superior comes towards a person of junior rank, the lower rank salutes, holds the salute until the higher rank completes their salute and passes. Even if, say the superior does not salute. Those Marines did not salute. Maybe they were holding the door, but with all the soldiers with their backs turned I’m feeling there are some strange things going on and compounding.

Actually, ChInA Joe is not yet Commander-in-Chief when he passes those Marines and should not be saluting them. Here is the CSPAN video of the entire day: https://youtu.be/ZwvbQR887W0
The Marine non salute event happens at about 3 hours and 30 min in
ChInA Joe swears in to become President Joe (Jinping) at about 4 hours 47min into CSPAN’s coverage
