I grew up in a area of no blacks to Memphis to take a new job.
2nd day in Memphis walked into Mall of Memphis and 3-4 utes came out and said “get the furak out of the way cracker”
The company who hired me put me up in a company owned apartment for two months until I got settled.
The old Southern bred white HR woman called me into her office the first week and pulled out a city map and circled in red areas I should rent and stay away from other areas and told me the facts in her best Southern way so as not to appear racist.
