Thanks. Problem is a lot of supplement companies say “Made in the USA” but if you call them and ask where the ingredients are from they are often other countries. I’ve called numerous companies. from low $ brands sold at Walmart to high $ sold online and with Vit C it’s pretty much always from China. You have to watch out for “Made in the USA” as that simply means “assembled in USA”.

The issue is not so much made in USA with vitamin C but the method of manufacturing. GMO vit C is made by a modified mold and in harvest may contain mycotoxins.

Non GMO is made by food sources, often rose hips, and are much more expensive to produce. Altho with C, even the best is pretty cheap.

Chinese Manufacturers would never choose to make the more expensive higher quality product as it would have a lesser profit margin.

US laws are real strict on Organic labeling... hence, buy Non GMO nets you the USA product AND mycotoxin free...
