I tried to visit Pismo beach once but forgot to turn left at Albuquerque and ended up in Ali Baba’s treasure cave.

I got the chance to make a left turn in Albuquerque once. My wife and I flew from Calgary to Albuquerque, via SFO, for our son’s wedding in Santa Fe.

Told my wife that by hook or crook I was going to make a left turn there, though she wasn’t nearly as amused as I. Fortunately, I had to make a left turn just getting out of the airport, so that was the highlight of the trip.

Well, the wedding was pretty cool, too.
