I was thinking of people who have little or no experience with intense, high-stakes environments.
I believed Tracy was not "angry," but was venting after being shoved around by the intense fear of others. I recognized her manner. Having worked around people who handled high amounts of adrenalin, I naturally put it in context.
I've seen others, bystanders, become completely shocked and bewildered by those whom they feel are, apropos of nothing, venting anger on people who haven't provoked it. Those bystanders often misinterpret forthcoming declarations of resolve as....wait for it...additional reason to panic?
Some don't "speak the language" and for them, witnessing the venting of adrenalin provokes fear. They aren't weak people, they just haven't had experiences others have had. We may consider them blessed for not having "walked the edge" like that. But in times of duress, their lack of experience just adds to their fear. The playing field is not level.
Song choice was Loverboy "Workin for the weekend"
Lyrics played were:
"Everyone's watching, to see what you will do
Everyone's looking at you, oh
Everyone's wondering, will you come out tonight
Everyone's trying to get it right, get it right"
