Did you see the article about the Dem’s plans to effectively “reset” the courts? I suspect Mitch knew this was going to happen and was given permission to confirm all of those judges. All of that would be wiped out if the Dems do that ... and they legally can do it via legislature!
Yes, the dems can do that, and might, cementing America’s status as a dictatorship. But Turtle didn’t know that it would happen when he was pushing all those judges through.
