The bitter irony is that Mitch McConnell told the Senate not to challenge the Nov 3 election results. Data showed that, had the Georgia election been challenged, Sen. Perdue would have won and not only would not be having to face a runoff but there would have been no chance of losing the Senate.

So why are they asking for a big war chest to Take Back the Senate? Well, anyone on this thread can answer that themselves. Janus faced Lindsey Graham says that if the Senate Pubs vote to convict DJT on impeachment it will be the end of the Republican Party. The Republican Party is already in its death throes (thank you China/S0r0s/'bama.) Many Senate Repubs think that is just fine.
The crippled Repubs can return to their favorite status: to be Big Brother's ill defined opposition party... i.e. Whigs!
