As I understand it, martial law occurs with the stepping down of the President, the military takes control and holds a fair election, the new president is elected and sworn in.

So, that's a likely scenario here. And, as elections are to be fair, one doesn't state who will be the next president until a fair election is held. You let people vote, and wait for the decision.

I, along with General Flynn and many others, believe that President Trump will absolutely be sworn in as our next president.
