C-130s flying around is a BIG DEAL. /s
I seem to remember a similar story a few weeks back, but with C-17 traffic vs C-130s.
I guess we could track the E-3's reserve squadron out of Tinker AFB, too. "OMG, an AWACS is flying on a Saturday! They're flying this race track flight pattern over St Louis!...They even went to a tanker so they could extend their mission! OMG!"
lol
I live on in the flight path of Westover ARB, Bradley field (CT ANG), and Barnes ANGB. On any given day I see C130s, C5s, C17s, F15s flying in our airspace.
Every once in a while I see a KC 130. Every great once in a while I hear a B52.
They mean that some reservist, somewhere is getting some flight time in. Except the B52. That means someone in the Northeast is getting a “fly over.”
