Look if you are afraid to think of what is going to happen its easier just to attack the messenger and I totally understand that. I do believe that you are going to have a much harder time of it than me when the military takes over. But its going to happen because it must happen. The insurrection act is not unconstitutional by the way. All I can tell you is in a couple of months you will probably be crying with relief. Eventually Trump will be inaugurated and the swamp will be drained. But like it or not on January 20th I highly doubt there will be an inauguration. A military contingency command will probably be running the country.
Re: 141
I’m afraid of tyranny. Terrified of it, in fact. As should all U.S. citizens.
Which is what you are suggesting and indeed advocating in your interpretation of the Insurrection Act.
We shall see on the 20th. By the way, prior to the invocation of the Insurrection Act, the President is required to issue a “Proclamation to Disperse” (see 10 U.S. Code ยง 254). I have not seen that yet. It should not be done in secret - most proclamations by their nature are public in nature. And in this case, think that would be important.
Anyways, President Trump has until Wednesday, January 20 at 12:00 Pm to act in the manner you want. I believe he is an honorable man and will not act as a tyrant.
