Did you get the Gavin Newsom recall petition letter? (Vanity)

Today I got a letter from RESCUE CALIFORNIA...

The letter had a petition to recall Gavin Newsom...

I am asking people who live in CA...Did you get the letter yet?

I am going to sign the petition and send it back in a free postage envelope...I think that I will use a stamp to save the RESCUE CALIFORNIA some money on postage.

The letter also contained a form for making donations to RESCUE CALIFORNIA...

Please write "2021" over "2020" in the petition...That is what the instruction stated...

On the petition, the Governor did respond...

"This unwarranted recall effort will cost CA taxpayers 81 million dollars! It is being pushed by political extremists supporting President Trump's hateful attacks on CA."

What? "Hateful attacks on CA"? I don't understand what Governor Gavin is talking about...

I guess Governor Gavin's strategy is to make Trump an issue...Really? The issue should be how he handled COVID...

Some of the people who signed the letter asking me to support recall...Former LA DA Steve Cooley...Former LA County Supervisor Mike Antonovich...John Cox...Former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer...

Because Gov. Hiram Johnson, a Republican, established government by initiative, referendum and recall in the years before World War I. It's in the state constitution.

Johnson was TR's running mate for the Bull Moose Party in 1912.

There was a time when California had sane politics and the people voted in a measure to allow recalls in case we got a terrible governor like Gavin Newsom.

Hopefully this time it works out better than getting Arnold (though he was better than most of the commies who get elected in CA).

Recalls work when some % of people who voted for that candidate originally change their minds.

I can tell you that many, many parents of CA high school athletes have now changed their minds. Some have admitted as much in my private Facebook groups dedicated to reopening schools and sports. CA is one of only 10 states which didn’t have a fall season. Peoples’ eyes have now been opened to the power of the CA teachers’ unions. They are more powerful than even the governor. They may not vote GOP but they are getting a lesson on the reality of who really controls CA. Teachers are a protected class.

Our district’s union used to say #ForTheStudents when asking for more bonds and $$. Parents now know that was a lie. (I’ve known it for years of course but many Californians in the past naively supported teachers and unions—no more).

Recall Newsom recall petition can also be downloaded.
Recall Newsom (70% 1.14.21, deadline March 10)

Speaking of recall elections, patriots need to work with their respective state lawmakers to amend state constitutions as follows.

Recall this adulterous bastard. California was once a beautiful state, then demoncrats took over. It is a basket case now, begging for money. This adulterous bastard is to blame. Recall the SOB.

Nope, haven't gotten it yet. If I get it, I'll gladly sign it. Newsom is the worst CA governor of my lifetime, and given the stiff competition that's saying a lot.

It is very frustrating when some people support some issue just because the teacher's union is for it...Come on, people...Union's number one job is protect pay and benefits...

I heard Governor Gavin talk about his new budget...He talked about "safely" reopening schools...What?

I thought the teachers' unions wanted CA schools shut down until September...

September of this year...

A school board member, from a suburban district, spoke to LA County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl about school closures...The supervisor told her that schools should not reopen until fall of this year...

I have a feeling that Kuehl and unions are on the same page about school closures...
