Didn’t say WHERE they were headed...not that I know. And it is public info that the troop level is going up in DC. Question for the thread is why, and why is Pres Trump (CIC) allowing it?
It is known the NG’s there arrived with weapons and loaded for bear.
Would it make any kind of sense for “protesters’ to show up and be taken down without firing a shot?

Yeah, and what is really eye-opening is that the Germans had already moved 1.5 million troops into position to launch an invasion of Poland BEFORE that so-called “sneak attack” on the radio station, and that the deception was swallowed, hook, line, and sinker.
Our cities burned to the ground for months NOW we have what looks like a war zone out there to protect Biden from the 10 people that show up for the inauguration REALLY what the hell is REALLY going on out there???

When I was in the USAF (1970-1974), when we separated (i.e., when our 4-year enlistment was up, and we left active service) we were still on a 2-year “inactive reserve” status, and the formal discharge did not come until that period had passed. I assume that is still the way things are now.

The only problem with that theory is ...it is the current President that has authority call them in. No?

In a perfect world these troops would be in place to arrest every member of the House and Senate, and everyone in the FBI, DOJ, CIA, DHS.
My question is Who exactly is calling these troops up?
Trump?, Gov?,, Biden has no power to call up anything.....
The answer to the “how can they do that?” question makes perfect sense. It’s the “Why are they calling up Inactive Reserves?” question that’s intriguing.
Hence my earlier post that such a call-up is odd.
Oh, gosh.....could you imagine the absolute freak-out in the network control rooms if the military suddenly appeared on the grandstand for the inauguration and stated arresting people?

And few are aware of the soviet plans to invade from the east a few weeks later per the nonagression pact
Only the President, Congress (as a whole), or the Secretary of Defense can call up military reservists. Soooo, who did call them up???
Are these people expecting a invading force? .....
And state capitals are being enforced in the same way. Something seems fishy. I keep asking, where are web sites of Trump supporters talking about going to Washington? I have not seen any. Trump has asked us to stay away.
What is going on???
