Also if you have face to face discussions with anyone about the current political situation you should put your phone in your car. Even turning it off won’t shut off the microphone. Try this experiment...put your phone (leave the phone turned in) on the table between two people. Start talking about some product you have not discussed ever like a new stuffed animal or maybe a set of tools. See if next time you go online you don’t suddenly see ads for the items you discussed. In fact I expect to see ads for stuffed animals this evening. Your phone spies on you all the time!

Yes, this is absolutely true. Hubby and I mentioned something very archaic, like a tape deck or something like that. Sure enough, next time he looked at the computer there were ads to buy used tape decks from Ebay (something like that). It’s all quite frightening.

Absolutely true. Your phone does spy. I had my phone in my pocket. I was on bus duty after school. I told the teacher thst I used to buy Etienne Aigner shoes long ago. When I returned to my office computer thirty minutes later those exact shoes popped up in an ad. I had never searched for those shoes online.
