Isn’t most of the NG Units in DC now from blue states? And if having the NG in DC is all Trump’s doing, then why not from red states as well?

What states the National Guard are from is meaningless. Military follows chain of command not feelings or impulse. A lot of those guys and gals are from flyover country and from rural areas. Soy boys and anarchists are not in a hurry to join the military.

The military is not from red or blue, it is red white and blue. Civilians misunderstand that.
