National Guard support to federal and District authorities leading up 59th Presidential Inauguration
I see 82nd Airborne, 32nd Infantry (Red Arrow Div.) 4th Infantry (Ivy Soldiers our of Fort Carson, CO)4th Infantry in Operation Red Dawn, conducted on 13 December 2003, in coordination with a special operations unit, captured Saddam Hussein, the former president of Iraq. His capture has been described by the news media as the number one news story of 2003. ((These guys also had tours in Afghanistan))
There are obviously many other units, NG, etc. I couldnt see very well.
I know nothing about military strategy, but does it seem odd that we would place so many troops in one relatively small location...where a couple of well-placed missiles could take them all out?
