Yup. New prepper converts all over the place. Especially for toilet paper.
I will make you laugh.
The reason I gained cred with the parents was because I told them to buy TP in Feb. Mama got 8 rolls. In March when none was to be found hubby and I drove 110 miles down with an extra large pack. (No we weren’t *those people* who cleaned out the store)
We brought TP, staple groceries and some extra disinfectants. Enough to last mom and dad 4 weeks. It was 4 days later when the “2 weeks to stop the spread” crap was announced. They did not see it coming. And suddenly they think we are smarter.
I would not call them red-pilled yet. We were working on sharing and getting them up to speed. They are in their 80’s and have no internet. Only cheap basic cable. When the George Floyd thing happened we had gone down to spend a day and as I shared some of the truth of that mess my dad had a heart attack. He survived but we have been careful in discussions since then. More hard truth is coming but we are having to be watchful.
