The dogs can smell the bad stuff after it has left the car too

I know...a cute little beagle sat next to my suitcase in customs at LAX once. He smelled the apples I had been carrying in there about 3 days before.

I put 10 pounds of scrapple (which probably x-rays like blocks of C4) and a 5 pound log of venison sausage in a check bag coming back from VA a few years back. When I got home and opened the luggage it was all mussed up with a note in it essentially saying “we searched your bag”. I thought a minute later “Man, I bet that dog was thinking whomever owns this is an ***hole!”
