Only that I agree with Wictor and that, while a regiment or brigade today may have 5000 men (Women, etc.), back in the 'tween wars years of the thirties, it was far fewer. This, I thought, reinforced the point that there are far and away many more troops deployed than are required for the ostensible mission of riot control.
