Just watched a different video of what occurred before the shooting. There were three Capitol Police officers standing in front of the double-doors, behind which the shooter was on the left-hand side. There were several civilians milling about in front of the police. Ashli Babbitt is seen in that crowd, yelling at the police, then she moves away.
There are a couple of agitators, who are seen reaching over the cop’s shoulders and banging the windows. They are already cracked, but still intact. One guy with glasses, wearing a black T-shirt with the red letters that say Pirelli’s, on a yellow background, and also wearing what is described as a Fargo hat (Kodiak cap), one with the flaps that come down over the ears. He has a helmet in his hand and is smashing the glass in the doors with it, walking back and forth in front of the cops, while hitting the windows over their shoulders as he walks.

Now why that would even be allowed to happen is beyond me. They are damaging property, and not one of those cops is taking action to stop them. After a very short while, all three cops move away from the doors, and these same guys continue to smash the windows. Now why did those cops move away from the doors? They were there to prevent anyone from gaining entry. As soon as they move away from the area, you can see the agent/cop who has been standing on the left behind the door, slowing come out, and then Babbitt is shot right afterwards. This stinks to high heavens to me. Why did those cops leave? It makes no sense. Was it done deliberately so that the shooter would have a clear shot to hit one of the people on the other side of the door? All the while the cops are standing in front of the doors, and the individuals are smashing the windows over the shoulders of the cops, the shooter is off to the left, and you can see his arms extended with his weapon drawn, in the position to fire.

Having worked in uniform in NY State Corrections, and security being one of the most important things as an officer, that you can learn, I couldn’t believe what I saw. There is no way, if a group of inmates were trying to gain entry to an area of the prison, and the only thing holding them back was three of us officers, there is no way any of us would have walked away. Help would have been called for via our radios, or we would have pulled the pin on our radio, which would have alerted the arsenal that there was trouble, and help was needed, and we would have physically held them off until help arrived. It doesn’t appear that any one of the three cops had called for back-up, at least not while the film was rolling. If any one of us had left an area unguarded, we would have been brought up on charges and lost our jobs, and the rest of the officers would have labeled us chickens.

Later in the video, he’s seen retreating behind a line of police on a stairwell and then pulling out (presumably) new clothes from his backpack without any concern about the police in front of him.

I watched a video which was supposed to show him doing that, but all I saw was him prancing around the police in an alcove area with a bunch of people, and the cops finally taking him down. I never saw him changing his clothes. He still had the Pirelli shirt and Fargo hat when they restrained him. I’d like to know if he was even arrested. I bet not.

Yeah. I saw it from the Japanese woman’s interview.
She also detailed the black guy who was recording the whole thing, who later appeared on CNN as a witness to the events. That guy at one point put on a gas mask while he was recording with a selfie-stick held high. She then showed that same guy at a prior Antifa rally holding a bullhorn.

I saw the earlier video with a guy with a scraggly beard inside the Capitol also with a gas mask. A woman with a bullhorn was giving instructions through a broken window to “take the building.” In the Yon interview, I saw a still photo of that same scraggly-beard guy standing at the door before he entered the Capitol.

For a supposedly spontaneous “Trump-supporter riot,” there were certainly a lot of suspicious-looking people at the front of the crowd who were the first to enter the Capitol.
