There are things called contracts though... unfair to kick them off at a weekend like that w/ no notice.

All depends on how the contract is worded, in my understanding.
I’m pretty sure that my ISP can cancel my service with no notice if I did something specified in the contract; same thing with Apple or Amazon- even *I* - an insurance geek who can, and has, read and comprehended the entirety of massive insurance contracts and explained the intricacies and details to agents and investigators haven’t read those things yet. But I’d bet my bottom dollar that if I engaged in any illegal activities they *could* terminate my connectivity that instant; I would sure as hell write the contract that way.
