I went there a couple times as a kid in the early 1980’s and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m sure it would be a scary miserable experience nowadays. Glad I got to go when I did.

I was there for the first time as an adult in the early 1970’s and also enjoyed it. I still remember sitting in a Supreme Court case being heard and the questions from the Justices.
Went back several times in the late 80’s and early 90’s on various business trips and the glamour was not what it had been.
