What happened was a bunch of highly educated German Jews (Secular) critical theorists fled Nazi Germany in the 1930’s and landed in esteemed positions throughout the State Department, intelligence agencies, and Ivy League schools that quickly spread to other institutions.

Their ideology took over without firing a shot.

Of course, that said, it arguably started earlier with John Dewey. Let’s not forget that he also was responsible for progressive education. Heck, arguably the rot predated even Dewey, if The Blaze is of any indication:
