Cards issued by “MetaBank,” which I’ve never heard of. It says I can use it as a debit card. I wonder if I can buy ammo with it?

we “inherited a nice “gift from father n law, I need to buy lead and get trained. thought about asking vet that lives next to us. My hubby had health issues and i am the most “informed” in the house. trying to work on my daughter and her indoctrinated hubby :(
Biggest problem is finding the ammo to buy.
Last couple of trips to sporting goods stores around here (Montana), the ammo shelves looked as bare as the WalMart toilet paper aisle. (Okay, it's hunting season but there isn't even .22 out there......)
that so called govt card could be a scam...banks and other entitizes sometimes offer up front checks/cards but the small writing says its actually a loan....be careful....sounds very fishy..
