This evening I got an e-mail from RNC Alert (contact@campaigns.rnchq.com) with the following content:

"In light of reports of more demonstrations, I urge that there must be NO violence, NO lawbreaking and NO vandalism of any kind.

That is not what I stand for, and it is not what America stands for. I call on ALL Americans to help ease tensions and calm tempers. Thank You."

At the bottom, it said "Paid for by the Republican National Committee"... bla bla bla

The curious thing is that I have never given the RNC my personal email address, nor would I ever dream of giving it to them.. I have made a few donations to the President directly, though.

Hmmmm.
