Here’s a text I just received and my response:

I received two letters one from the state party the other from the national party and neither mention Trump. The republican party is headed for 30 years
of darkness

Don’t bail on Trump yet. Once he’s in place for 4 more years, there won’t be either a Republican or Democrat Party. Both parties will be decimated once the dust settles. Look for an entire new party to emerge.

I filled out the paperwork to change it after McCain took a dive, but I kept getting the solicitations... and ignored them, figuring they were a little... slow. I finally get a new voter card from the county a couple years later and find I was still officially a Republican to them. The second time the GOP pushed another glass-jawed, self-aggrandizing ringer (Romney) on me, I went down to the court house and made my independence from political parties stick.

That’s a usual RAT talking point every two years - now we know why they need 3rd parties to front votes off to in their fraud.
