Parkes may see an opportunity to get attention (and new adherents) for his real cause - his 5d consciousness jazz by latching on to our National crisis which has generated many facets of controversy and theories that are not difficult to access.
Using gained knowledge he can add his own slant to that information and thus gain more exposure and popularity in many unsuspecting peoples eyes.
