We are in the middle of spiritual battle between good and evil.
The left is demonic and possessed with unholy, murderous, lying rage, just like their own spiritual father
I believe that God’s hand is upon Trump and it would make perfect sense that the “pillow guy”, openly devout Christian that he is, may also be a man being used by God for His purposes.
I may be the least of all good Christians, yet I wait upon the Lord to show His almighty hand, possibly at the very last second, when all seems lost.
Just like with Moses and the Red Sea.
He waited until their feet were wet before He told Moses to hold up that stick.
I have to believe, or I’ll lose all hope.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”
Amen and amen. 9No a womans here!)
“ I may be the least of all good Christians, yet I wait upon the Lord to show His almighty hand, possibly at the very last second, when all seems lost.”
You have this.
Their feet weren’t wet...when the waters parted they went across on dry ground but they were crowded on the shore before they went. The Egyptians were being blocked by fire anyway so no one needed to have gotten their feet wet.
Your point is valid. I think of it as a characteristic of God’s personality as He always waits until the last minute to bring deliverance. We come boldly to the throne of grace and there find grace to help “in the nick of time.”
However the miracle crossing of Jordan is often quoted by evangelical preachers as an example of obedience and faith. “The priests picked up that ark and the water was still there. Bless God they started walkin’ and the water was still there. (Amen! Preach it!) They got to the edge and the water was still there. But when they tried to step in...(Amen! Glory to God!) The waters didn’t recede until they tried to step in! And then God did it! Your job is to obey. It’s God’s job to part the water.”
It is usually pointed out that their feet never actually got wet. At the Red Sea I agree with you that all seemed lost when the deliverance came, but saying that there feet were wet seems to me to be a minor detail error. You seemed to me to be conflating the two miracles which are so similar as to be generally acceptable and I have heard that done.
Kind regards my Sister.
