Oh well. Is his passing more or less significant than that of an unarmed white female veteran murdered by Capitol police?

One fewer hollywoodenhead. It’s a start. Now, please God, on to so many others, especially recent loudmouths who are bald and bearded, or who like to pose topless, or bray endlessly on chick talk shows, or who marry faux minority chicks.

“Coal Miner’s Daughter” is about as good an American-based music biopic as you could want. Done with respect to the particulars and without even a nod to ‘wokeness’ ... not unironic that you can draw a straight line from CMD to “Walk The Line” in ‘05 and perhaps one of the last valid US music biopic movies unworried about wokeness...

The 7 Up series was a courageous and thoughtful undertaking - especially given the rather shallow abstractions of our individual maturing processes coming out of academia. Especially if you are British, each segment is enormously rich in the details of the lives of these individuals making it easy to see how distinct they are and how our own lives are similar and different. In comparison to Apted, Michael Moore is Homer Simpson.

RIP to the director...

I watched some of his films...

THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH and ENOUGH...

I have not watched his documentaries yet...

THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH was a fine James Bond film...
