"What they hell were they thinking?"

The BS Flag is on the field, Marine:

1. There were no warnings posted, no signs, no bullhorns warning anyone that this was a "shoot first, ask questions later" zone.

2. The man shooting Ashli aimed at her without any advance warnings for some time before firing, then fired a killing shot with deliberation. Since when are American citizens shot to death out of hand?

3. There were several armed Capitol Police officers next to, and behind Ashli when she was shot: one actually aimed his weapon at the source of the shot momentarily. If this zone was "kill immediately without warning" zone, why did the other officers calmly watch?

4.You are condoning a policy that is anathema to American citizens and our rights under the Constitution. This wasn't invading a nuke site, this wasn't an armed insurrection, this was a group of ordinary Americans who were trying to get the government's attention while they were voting on our future,

Ashli was murdered - and by excusing the man who did this, you are trying to justify it.

I stated there was problems with the security break down. As for final defensive positions, they are never marked. What ever imagination you have in your head doesn’t comport with reality.

I am also concerned there was no forceful command. But from the officer’s point of view, all other police have failed and he is facing multiple intruders with a principle task of protecting Congress.

She was not murdered. Murder has a specific definition and this will fail to meet the standard. Manslaughter won’t meet the test in these circumstances.

Perfectly reasoned and stated. Thank you!
