Find the symbol on the face of the phone that looks like a gear, says Settings. Go there, scroll down near bottom to system updates, hit that, find auto update button, if it’s on, push it to off.

Do Android phones need to turn it off too? I told DH. I don’t have a cell phone.

on my samsung, when you go to settings, then system updates there is no choice for turning it off...
