Have now had Brave for close to an hour and it is definitely faster than FF/mozilla. It was very user friendly to install and allows you to user Brave as your home page or continue to use whatever page you used on your previous browser. It will import all bookmarks from previous browsers one has used. It’s blocker feature appears to even block those unwanted images/photos that can seem to “accompany” a web site. The install and use instructions are easy and for the most part straight forward. The big question mark will be when my 78 year old mom uses it, since she uses the same PC I do. I tried to customize to where she can access the same home page, email et al as was on previous browsers.
When I went to download/install Brave it downloads to a file on PC and then you can go to that file and install. Doesn’t automatically install like some browsers do.
So from first blush it is faster and not as ad spam crowded as FF, but will have to be using it for 5 to 7 days to get a true feel of it. But I would say it is worth installing and using as your browser. I found it at bravebrowsersetup.com, if you are interested.
