I haven’t given this lecture to anyone else. Most others I tell to sit down and be quiet, because they are disrupting class. I haven’t told you to sit in the corner, clean the chalkboards, or stay after class. Just improve your attitude. You can’t be a productive, contributing member if you’re making people mad at you, by taking offense at every little thing people say. I know you don’t think it’s “little,” but you need to pick your battles.
