Vice President Mike Pence expressed anger about President Trump to a Republican senator after the commander-in-chief made the veep a target of the angry crowds that stormed the Capitol for simply following the Constitution’s rules regarding the Electoral College vote certification.

Speaking to Tulsa World after the shocking series of events unfolded Wednesday, Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) revealed that he had spoken to the vice president — and that he was furious.

Typical evangelist. “ My earthly decisions and honesty are unimpeachable because I believe in Jesus Christ. I shared the word of Christ with the people in support of DJT and I should be adored.”

I knew what this clown was the first time he invoked Christ in his speeches.

In our republic it takes a majority of a State’s legislators to change their elector slate, not a minority complaining about their choice.

The puke will be asking for Trump’s endorsement 3 years from now...I’m sure Trump’s answer will start with F’..

Pence will never run for office again. He is a back stabber and our side won't trust him. The other side won't trust him either.

He is done in politics, and he will go down in history as a betraying piece of sh*t.

Furious Pence to GOP pol after Capitol siege: ‘After all I’ve done for him’

_____________________________________________

What did Pence actually do for Trump that he wasn’t also doing for his own political career?

I mean when did Pence REALLY stick his neck way out?

The one moment that he was asked to do so he balked.

My Constitutional right to have my vote count was stolen from me in this election. Although Pence was not the primary one, or only one who could have done something about it and didn't, he was the last one.

Well said.

The four legislatures you cite had plenty of time to hold votes and do their constitutional duty long before the December 14th electoral vote process. They didn't do it, and they are being blatantly disingenuous when they try to stall the process at this late date.

Given the amount of voter fraud that had to be uncovered and given the amount judicial coverup, of the voting machines, and of the ballots, it would be "blatantly disingenuous" for Mike Pence not to understand that and to grant the majority leaders' requests.

Add to that, the state governors telling their state legislators, or at least the Democrat state legislators, that they could not hold sessions for a month, Mike Pence once again would be "blatantly disingenuous" not to understand that.

Now please cite where in the Constitution a governor has the power over the state legislatures to "direct" the electors.

The Constitution explicitly gives each state the authority to appoint the electors in a manner proscribed by its legislature.

The Constitution states that the "manner" that states appoint electors is "directed" by the legislatures. Cite for me the 2020 statute from each of those four states that directs the governors of those four states to appoint electors? And notice that I didn't ask for any supposed binding law from any previous session, because that would be unconstitutional.

I disagree completely. I've seen enough evidence of fraud that should convince any reasonable person that this election was stolen, and Pence should have shoved it up the @$$es of the thieves who did it!

Pence is a coward and a betrayer, and I hope his life is miserable from now until his death. He is a piece of sh*t, and may everyone remember him only for being the man who cast our Republic into hell.

Pence has cooked his goose. His political career is as finished as George W. Bush’s.

Screwed the pooch

The funny thing is that this is taken to mean "commit an embarrassing act," which we all know is weak. What it really means is to commit a grievous and unforgiveable sin, you know like it says - e.g. physically molesting the beloved family pet, and earning the permanent banishment by wife and kids, which is exactly what Pence did here.

Don’t blame him entirely. He has stood by the President. I wish for a better outcome but Pense had no power to stop what was happening in Congress.

The h*ll he didn't. He could have simply said "I will accept no electors from any state in which massive election fraud has been revealed.

That is exactly what he should have done.

Fīat jūstitia ruat cælum.

In our republic it takes a majority of a State’s legislators to change their elector slate, not a minority complaining about their choice.

By our Constitution, the State legislatures either "direct" the electors or no electors get directed.

There is no default position on electors that they must "change".
