I would imagine that disloyalty really hits him hard. Maybe he was stabbed in the back once too often.

I’m sure the Mike Pence betrayal was tough to handle. John Eastman was interviewed yesterday, and he was furious at Pence (and I’ve never seen Eastman visibly angry at anyone). He said that they briefed Pence yesterday morning on his Constitutional role in the electoral count, and Eastman himself, who is a true constitutional scholar, explained to Pence that he definitely had the authority to reject the electors from the questionable states. He said that Pence finally understood, and they all seemed to be on the same page. But by afternoon, when Pence sent that letter, he for whatever reason ignored everything from the briefing and again claimed he didn’t have the necessary authority.

Eastman was shocked and angry, and said that Pence flat out lied, claiming he didn’t have the power to switch the votes to Trump, which was not at all what they had requested of him or discussed during the briefing. They had only discussed his inarguable authority to simply reject the questionable electors and leave it up to the state legislatures to resolve.

So it sounds like even after having his authority confirmed by one of the best legal minds in the country, Pence just created a straw man in order to duck his responsibility anyway, lying about it in the process.

I thought Mike Pence was a good man who at least stood on principle, even though during his time as governor of Indiana he wobbled badly and reversed his position under pressure on the gay marriage nonsense. I guess that should have been a warning. But even that pales in comparison to the gravity of the current situation. He literally had the future of this nation in his hands. Over 230 years of history was riding on his decision. And despite all of that, he threw the greatest nation in world history under the bus, for what? To avoid responsibility for an unpopular decision? To court favor with the new Marxist overlords? What?

In the end, Pence turned out to be a fraud who is actually a horrible human being and in my opinion a fake Christian as well. Any real Christian values the truth above all else. Pence clearly went out of his way to do his part in hiding the truth. He’s despicable.

The treachery of Pontius Pence is all the more glaring when you realize that he had access to ALL the proof of these seditious acts in the swing states and his actions endorse it all. THAT is not the behavior of a Christian. He has taken the Lord’s name (calling himself a Christian, fraudulently) to do evil.

Thank you for that great and informative post. Pence lied. His hands were not tied....but now they should be.

And here I thought Lin Wood’s remarks about Pence were crazy. Nope, they were true....unbelievable!

Pontius Pence, how does he live with himself?

“In the end, Pence turned out to be a fraud who is actually a horrible human being and in my opinion a fake Christian as well.”

Mr. and Mrs. Pence will not be ostracized by their political and business friends. The leftist academics who write the history books will say he did the right thing. He will not be socially and economically destroyed when he leaves office like Donald Trump and his family will be. He will likely receive a couple of corporate board assignments, a few big paying speech gigs, and the chance to occasionally play elder statesman commentator on news shows if he agrees to read the script. Not a bad life ahead for Pence if that’s what’s important to him.

There are probably less than 5 GOP politicians in this country who would have stood on Lexington Green in August 1775 or signed their names to the Declaration of Independence in 1776. When the first redcoats landed in Boston and New York harbors they would have run for the woods. The concepts of patriotism, sacred honor, and virtue have long been erased from American politics.

“Crazy” Lin Wood was right from a week ago, Pence should be arrested for Treason and given the ultimate punishment.
