“Death blossom” sounds so poetic, evocative of the agave century plant, it sends up its final fragrant tall bloom and then the whole plant dies.
Death Blossom has a specific meaning which I know little about, hopefully someone else will explain. Something about the enemy is so cornered they just shoot everything they have every which way, to no avail.
It is a weapon system from The Last Starfighter movie.
