Understanding that is a huge if, can a Congressman open fire, legally? That shooting wouldn’t be legal for a ccw holder. Unless that was your house, but even then you would almost certainly need to see a weapon or threat of bodily harm. I think whoever it is, it looks like a bad shoot.

As far as I know and as far as my Carry License is concerned, if I’m allowed to carry and my life or someone else’s life is in danger, I can shoot.

I don’t know the laws in the capital for Congress or the Senate.

Not saying it was legal, or justified. Just how it is where I am, Michigan.

Besides, they suspended a Capitol Police Officer that fired that shot.
