OH, so the NYSE is de-listing. I probably misunderstood first reading.
Trump had an EO that demanded that any Chinese company with ties to the Chinese Military needed to be de listed from the US financial exchanges. 3 companies were identified and then slated for de listing on the NYSE for the end of the year. But, the NYSE decided to not follow the order!
Today they have announced that they will indeed delist these securities. This after the US Treasury was in contact with the NYSE.
Could you imagine if the shoe was on the other foot? This was an illegal and seditious act by the NYSE. It also created massive losses for investors as the price fluctuated. Also, some illegally gained money...perhaps with insight?
