I think it is pretty silly to think that any state could secede. Too many competing interests and too much to lose. Simply not possible on any practical grounds.
Not even Alaska or Hawaii.

Peacefully dividing a country by negotiation doesn't make either side 'secessionists'... Get real. Neither side likes the other...
At this point it seems to me that secession has already happened.
It is the Left/Democrats and the Deep State that have already Seceded by NOT following our Constitution.
We should Simply Ignore them, Divorce ourselves from anything they say or do.
Remake a Government based on the Constitution. Maybe based in Texas.
Simply stop recognizing their authority.
What are they going to do?
We re-establish America.
Understand this, We are NOT Leaving We are Kicking Them Out.
We establish a New Currency, based on Gold but based on Oil/Energy would be better.
We Own everything they need to survive.
The “Interstate Commerce Clause” would no longer apply to the states that remain. We renegotiate contracts, deliveries and TARIFFS.
BTW, We will be called America.
They will be Called Assholes, Idiots, Forlorn Communist wannabes. We’ll come up with a proper name.
Some people will have to move to avoid paying those assholes your tax dollars. Some people will need to become 1099 self employed “Contractors” to keep those assholes from stealing our money.
I ask again, What are they going to do about it?
