I don’t trust Cruz and this may be a bait and switch, but Josh Hawley’s effort is separate and is based on the fact that the fraud states did not follow their own election laws.

Hawley’s is a much easier case to make and prove.

Let’s not forget that one.

Look, Powell, you promised there's going to be some kind of "Kraken" that would break the case wide open, and people waited for your "Kraken," but all you did was make idiotic tweets and file briefs with stupid spelling errors that the courts just brushed aside.

I suppose Cruz's measure is designed to make the issue go away. I also suppose it won't even get passed by Congress. But people like Powell and Wood had their chance and they wasted it. So all they can do now is make moronic tweets blaming people for their own failures. Maybe the case was never going to stick anyway, given the biases of the judges, but look at your own failures before you start attacking others.

I don’t like this...

Every time a politician doesn’t actually want to do anything they appoint a ‘commission’ Or ‘panel’.

If they’re really serious, a ‘blue-ribbon panel’ (That’s the best kind)

Until everyone forgets about it.

There is already enough Evidence to start arresting people and throwing them in jail and making them talk...

Reminding them only the first whistleblowers get the best deal.

“The Last Refuge tweeted: Cruz had 2 whole months to speak up”.

So did every other Senator.

Cruz agreed to argue the Texas case though the Supreme Court turned it away 7-2 (including Trump’s three nominees who didn’t want to hear it).

The Republicans in the House have had a little more teeth, but not a lot.

Republican state officials, with a few exceptions, have been either flat-footed or uninterested in pursuing fraud in any meaningful way.

Trump’s lawyers have been less than impressive in my opinion.

By all means, this Conservative Treehouse blogger can dump on Cruz to his heart’s content, but Cruz has supported the President more than many of the Republicans.
