The most widely used tests for Covid are so sensitive that it is hard to know whether to call the results false positives or inconsequential nonsense. The tests were not meant to tell a person with no symptoms they were sick... they were designed to help a doctor figure out the appropriate treatment for a sick person.
90% of the positive results are now coming from people with no symptoms who are being forced to take a test for employment, travel, or some other equally inappropriate reason. The vast majority of these people will never develop symptoms especially if they are young, have no medical problems and not fat.
I was for Cruz before Trump threw his hat into the ring.
Then I saw him Spurn Trumps offer of the VP spot.
Then I watched him walk past Trump and Ben Carson while smirking (While Trump politely stood next to Doctor Carson and waited- One of the classiest moves I’ve ever seen a politician do)
I think he’s been pretty good in the Senate and would make a good supreme court justice. But in Leadership decisions like this, not so good.
Yep.
unless its open to the public from start to finish it’ll be a white wash...
only the anointed will ever win...
Never understood why Trump in the last 4 years wasn’t making regular primetime addresses to the American public especially during the Russian collusion scam and then during the impeachment and from election day fraud till now. Lord knows Obama plastered himself on nightly addresses for nothing more than his own glorification, Trump has a legitimate reason to reach out to the nation on this, and has for the last 4 years.
At first I wondered why Rand Paul and Tom Cotton were not joining in but now I’m thinking maybe they smell a rat too.
Wonder if any network will sell it to them :(
Them too! :>)
Yep!
“The Last Refuge tweeted: Cruz had 2 whole months to speak up”.
So did every other Senator.
Cruz agreed to argue the Texas case though the Supreme Court turned it away 7-2 (including Trump’s three nominees who didn’t want to hear it).
The Republicans in the House have had a little more teeth, but not a lot.
Republican state officials, with a few exceptions, have been either flat-footed or uninterested in pursuing fraud in any meaningful way.
Trump’s lawyers have been less than impressive in my opinion.
By all means, this Conservative Treehouse blogger can dump on Cruz to his heart’s content, but Cruz has supported the President more than many of the Republicans.
Pence has absolutely zero discretion in whether to accept or reject the electors. The VP’s role is very clearly and unambigously described in US Election Code as described here:
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/3/15
The only path to rejecting electors is for a State to “de-certify” (unlikely to happen) or the House AND Senate to vote to do so after filing of an objection by at least one Senator and one Congressman. It does look like we’ll have those objections, so there will be votes by the House and Senate on each objection - but since the House will never agree to toss the EC votes for a given state, that’s nothing but theater and perhaps getting some attention to how fraudulent this “election” was.
Any claim to the contrary (eg: Pence has some unilateral power to reject votes) is from a blog looking to drive clicks by posting either uninformed or intentional nonsense.
So you’re saying our best hope is decertification by the states.
Unless there’s something I’m unaware of (entirely possible), our ONLY hope is de-certification by the States.
Nov 23/24 there are articles Biden was getting transition money.
4 days ago are articles Biden is getting briefings again.
are you not up to speed, or just trying to not be accurate?
Kamala likes her senate paycheck and benefits, that is why she has not resigned.
Totally agree
