AMEN. I can’t begin to tell you how many churches that I’ve attended that have had mamby pamby preachers that want to get along to go along philosophies. United Methodist Churches / UMC... ducking. My mother and grandmother were baptized in these churches so I was introduced to them early on by default. I have LONG ago fell out with their philosophy and no longer step foot in their sanctuaries. The UMC is lukewarm at best. spit
That’s a major problem up here in Canada. The pastors these days are trying to be stand-up routines. They’re pathetic. And they don’t dare do anything to ruffle any feathers. They’re woke. They’re social justice dunces. My poor daughter and son-in-law have been trying to find a sensible, down to earth, good old fashioned Bible believing church and it’s not easy. They think they’ve found one, but they had to sit and listen to a lot of what we call “skinny jean” preachers. They think they’re so funny and cool. Quite disturbing.
Not only pastors, but the leadership as well. They vote for the devil, then piously say, “We must pray for those in authority” and teach their children to vote the same way.
